The San Jose/Santa Clara Water Pollution Control Plant plays a vital role in protecting and preserving San Francisco Bay and is embarking on a Master Plan process to enhance its facilities and equipment. The Plant serves the cities of San Jose, Santa Clara, Milpitas, Campbell, Cupertino, Los Gatos, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, and other unincorporated areas is conducting free facility bus tours May - August. Learn how water that is used in homes, schools, and businesses, which amounts to more than 110 million gallons per day - is cleaned to almost drinking water standards!
